A free government is the servant of its people. In many aspects of our lives, we end up being the servants of our government. We are over-regulated. Regulations are intended to keep us safe; but when there are too many regulations, who will keep us safe from government?
It is time for we, the people, to take more power over our lives and property by electing representatives who will (a) reduce regulations which serve no useful purpose or which benefit special interest groups, (b) redirect some of those freed-up resources into areas that truly benefit us as citizens, and (c) pass on any savings to us in the form of reduced taxes.
